Introduction
Over the past few years, Consciousness, Thought, Energy, have no longer been a field of investigation just for Mystics and some Spiritual Seekers; all of them, too often superficially accused of “gullibility”, by most.
The cream of the minds committed to science is increasingly engaged in the study of such concepts.
It could not happen differently, given that modern “quantum theorizations” have now opened some sort of “portals”, towards further dimensions of reality that, until recently, were unimaginable and unacceptable, at least to the traditional rigor of the scientific approach.
As we highlighted in the previous in-depth article “SCIENCE, QUANTUM THEORIES, SPIRITUALITY AND THE DISCOVERY OF REALITY”
https://www.ascoltareilsilenzio.com/blog-eng/sciencequantumtheoriesreality,
scientists are discovering that the foundation of reality no longer seems to be something certain and immutable, which has only to be discovered, but, rather, a sort of reservoir of “possibilities”, potentially destined to become reality, even just as an effect of observation.
A picture, this one, extremely, apparently, completely disorienting for that scientific rigor having always ridden the presumption of being able to explain everything…
I concluded the aforementioned in-depth analysis, by emphasizing that science is often finding, in the millennia-old spiritual wisdom, unexpected answers or findings, characterized by a surprising fundamental coherence with the results of many recent empirical observations…
Affirmations for self-healing
Given this premise, I’m going to address the themes of mind and thoughts power, to better explain the effectiveness of the affirmations, as a useful practice for “reprogramming” the mind, above all the subconscious mind, with 360-degree beneficial effects on our health and lives.
I find being right, here, to point out that I do not approach this topic from a scientific/medical point of view, as I do not have specific professional expertise. I do this, instead, by referring to my own life experience, as well as the teachings gathered during my spiritual seeking journey, which I am still making.
Great Eastern spiritual masters (personally, I have especially studied the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and his disciple Swami Kriyananda, Sri Yukteswar, Vivekananda, Aurobindo, and others to a lesser extent) tell about the existence of various levels of reality…
Material reality is the grossest level, into which humanity is immersed in concrete life. This reality is the materialization of a more subtle level, made up of energy, the so-called astral plane.
Everything, therefore, is pure energy, before being matter.
Energy originates, in turn, from the so-called causal plane, made up of thought-forms.This causal plane emanates, finally, from Cosmic Consciousness, Universal, Infinite and Eternal Awareness.
Is that easy matter, isn’t it? 😳😱🤣
To go further…
On which plane do we exist?
On all planes, of course!
Guessed it? Imagined this could be possible?
We actually have got a physical body, an astral body, a causal body and a soul, as a spark of the Cosmic Consciousness, Infinite Spirit.
Real “scientific” meditation practices have been handed down for millennia, allowing all sincere disciples to know themselves as part of the Whole, One with the Whole, experiencing the various levels of their being and working on them, with the aim of fully realizing themselves, spiritually.
Are you not interested in deepening the spiritual dimension of existence?
Affirmations for self-healing can nevertheless be practiced with some effectiveness, in order to “reprogram” our mind, also bringing benefits on the physical, organic level.
Every thought, every action ruled by the will, create patterns, mental structures, which can be reshaped with the technique of these affirmations.
Their effectiveness necessarily depends on the consistency of practice, and on the intensity of the awareness put into practice.
How affirmations have to be practiced?
Basically, it is recommended to choose a relevant thought about the difficulty we want to solve; emphasize the outcome and avoid all negative expressions.
Ex. If one tends to be anxious, probably would wish amd need to be able to face all engagements of life, with calmness and serenity.
A statement like this could be chosen:
“I am master of my emotions. I'm calm. I calmly face every commitment, because I am aware that in calm I can find all solutions and ways to succeed”
It’s better to avoid all negative expressions, such as “I will never fall into the anxiety trap again”, in the specific case.
Personally, I find the effectiveness of these affirmations could be dampened, if one detaches them from the spiritual dimension of existence, which I find fundamental, at all levels of living.
My choice would therefore fall on some expressions like:
“I am the perfect calmness. The Infinite Power sustains me”
Affirmations have to be practiced consistently for as long as necessary. Time can vary, depending also on how deeply rooted the traces to be removed are in the subconscious mind.
From the teachings I’ve learned every time one is going to practice these affirmations, it is recommended to repeat the chosen statements with conviction:
- 3 times out loud, to act on the conscious/operating mind;
- 3 times in a low voice, to act on the subconscious mind;
- 3 times mentally, to intensify the effect, bringing this action to the plane of the super-conscious mind.
In any case, I personally find that also the practice of maintaining the chosen affirmation as a background in one’s own mind, frequently recalling it, along with the associated thought, is suitable to produce tangible effects.
Try and believe!
Much more could be said…Much more details could be explored… for instance, having to do with the suggested body position for practice, visualization, meditation associated to the practice routine, etc.
Maybe the opportunity will come to go deeper into this matter… Here, the discussion, which is already considerably long and articulated, would become too long-winded, with the risk of distracting and achieving counterproductive effects…
So I feel… Let me know what you think about ❤️
Let’s keep following these scattered crumbs…
… They bring Far…
… and Near, at the same time...
Let’s follow the way of the soul…
Have a great Journey dearest soul-friend!

I always heartily apologize for my English… I prefer taking care of translations by myself to respect the essence of what I want to tell, to the maximum possible extent… AI translations are too often totally inaccurate. Hope you could appreciate my efforts. Thank you for your patient understanding ❤️
